Successful Stamp Party

So I was the demonstrator for my very first stamp party the other day and it was SO much fun.  I have really come to love stamping over the last couple of years and one of the things I love about this is showing people that stamping can be really easy.  Rachel made great treats and we had a fun group.  It was fun to visit and chat while we made the projects, and I think everyone went away happy.  (and the order should arrive tomorrow.  Hooray!)

I would love to do another party for someone so if you are interested, let me know!

My baby is three, and my other baby is EIGHT!

We love our girls!

So it seems like just yesterday that our little Liz was born.  We had a bit of a crazy start, and I am amazed at and so grateful for the wonderful way that she has grown. I can't believe it all.  She got High School Musical for her birthday and it boggles my mind that she is ready to enjoy fun things like that, instead of just Disney Princesses.  She is such a fun, pretty, smart and creative girl and is such a joy to have in our family. We love our Liz!

OK, so I feel a little bad that I didn't write about Megan a couple of days ago on her birthday. I can't believe that she is three! In the last year we have said good bye to the toddler bed, diapers (hooray! It has been a long eight years of diapers at the Chantry house) and just he other day we bid farewell to sippy cups. Megan has definitely exited toddlerhood and entered the world of little girls. We love Megan for her joy and enthusiasm. She is such a happy girl, always ready with that charming "can't say no to me" smile and we don't know what our family wold do without her.

Birthday girls

We celebrated birthdays yesterday and it was so much fun.  What a fun time for the girls to share together.
Liz loved the big coloring posters from Scott and Jenalee.  After cake they were the first things she played with, and she already has colored most of it.

Liz got High School Musical.  She has been wanting to see it forever and thanks to Grandpa and Grandma Chantry now she can.  She also got batteries for a favorite toy.

An LLBean bag and scriptures from Grandpa and Grandma Call.
We got her a large hymn book and a movie (she read an abridged version of "A Little Princess" a couple of months ago, and these are two of moms favorite stories.  We also gave her a pearl necklace.  She is excited to wear it on her baptism day.

Megan opening her first present (from Scott and Jen).  It was bubbles.  She said, "Cool" and it made her sound really grown up.  I can't believe she will be three tomorrow.

Listening to Dad read the card from Grandma and Grandpa Chantry.
Now she can build Cinderella's castle.  Thanks Grandma and Grandpa Chantry!

Her puppy from Grandma and Grandpa Call.  She named it LLBean and gave Nathan back his puppy that she had claimed as her own.

A
A purse from Grandma and Grandpa Call in Maine.  It is SO her!

Surprises from mom and dad.  MEgan LOVEs princess movies.
I tried my hand at a tinkerbell cake for the girls. I posted pictures of it, and a few more from the party at http://eprocrastinator.blogspot.com/2009/03/picture-is-worth-thousand-words.html

It was a great day!

Stampin Up! Party

The stamp party that I am demonstrating and my friend is hosting is just over a week away now.  I am so excited!  I planned out the two make-and-takes that we will have that night and I have been looking over the catalog again and again.  There is so much fun and great stuff in this catalog.  I think it is my favorite of all time.  My friend handed out invites, but if for some reason you didn't get one and would like to come let one of us know by Monday.  We love stamping and we love it even more with a group of friends.

Here are the two projects we will be making.  We wanted to go for spring and summer colors hoping that the weather would match.  The first card uses a set available through the Sell-a-bration promotion and the second uses a cute set in the catalog called Tart and Tangy.  I can't wait for next week!
